ABSTRACT This paper presents an approach for transforming an XML schema we enriched in ODL (Object Definition Language) schemas. It is possible to realize the concepts of ODL in a model of XML schema, we propose to introduce an enrichment concretizing these concepts in the XML Schema models. We chose oriented object database as a target database because there are many common characteristics between XML and object-oriented model, thus the mapping from XML data into object-oriented databases is more interesting.
